Judging Requirements 

Team Debate

·         Register one judge per team.  (maximum two per family)

Individual Events

·         Register one judge per student.  (maximum two per family)

 

Two Types of Judges

1.  Parent Judge (Judges that have a son or daughter competing in the tournament)

Your parents are the logical first choice to fulfill your judge requirements.  If that is not possible, you are responsible to find a person or persons who will act as your judge(s).

Parent judges must register on the Tournament Student Registration “Judges” Tab. This allows us to have name tags for all parents.

All parent judges must be available to judge the entire tournament.

Parent judge registrations must be completed at the same time student registration closes. 

2.  Guest Judge  (Anyone other than a parent)

Alumni are Guest Judges.

Please access the “Guest Judge” Registration link to register Guest Judges.  

Guest Judge Registration is open through Monday, April 10, 5:00 PM of the tournament week.

 

For both parent and guest judge registration, complete information must be submitted, including:

·         Name

·         Address

·         Email

·         Phone number

·         Restrictions [student name and/or club]

·         Biographical information (for the posted Judge Bios)
