2019 Monahans HS UIL Tournament
Dates: 10/25/2019 - 10/26/2019

You and your students are invited to attend the Monahans High School Fall UIL Invitational Meet to be held on October 25-26, 2019. We will offer all Academic Events as well as Speech and Debate Events.


Speech and Debate Events will be held Friday, October 25, 2019 beginning with a coaches meeting at 8:30am. All Speech and Debate events will be held at the First Baptist Church in Monahans. The address for the church is 504 S. Alice, Monahans, TX 79756.

Academic Events will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 beginning at 8:30am. All Academic events will be held at Monahans High School. The address is 809 S. Betty, Monahans, TX 79756

**Computer Applications will be limited to the first 30 entrants with no more than 3 from a single school. Each contestant in this event will be limited to one plug-in and must bring all materials he/she needs to compete. In this particular event, ONLY papers from schools that provide a qualified grader will be graded. The other papers will be returned with an answer key, but no score.  

**Computer Science hands on computer science will NOT be offered. 


Third Party Materials

Monday, October 14th - entries are due. Please fax, E-mail, or register on Joy of Tournaments.
Wednesday, October 23rd - last day for add, drops, or other changes without penalty.  

Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Ribbons, will be awarded for 4th, 5th and 6th places.
Team ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

Judging:  Each school must provide the required judges or pay a fee. All available sponsors of events may be needed to help grade in various events. Again, a qualified grader from the school must help grade Computer Applications, or those students' papers will not be scored.   

Hospitality Room for sponsors only: Will be located on Friday, October 25th in Room 108 and on Saturday, October 26th in the Teacher Workroom


*On Saturday ONLY students will have use of the Gym between contests.

*Students will have acess to a concession stand.

*Meals: Students will be provided Meal Deals. The Meal Deal will include main entree, chips, dessert and drink for $10.00. More information to come.
