Events and Entries:

We will host all state events. Please limit all debate entries to four and other events to six.  We will consider wait-listed additions after the preliminary registration date.

 

Lincoln Douglas Debate and Public Forum will debate the January topics.  Cross-examination will debate the NFL topic for 2011-2012.

 

In regard to doubling:

Doubling is allowed for all events within the pattern and across patterns.  

Exceptions:  

- Debate cannot double within the pattern

- Policy teams cannot compete in both Novice and Varsity Policy-- one or the other please

- Serious congress competitors may want to avoid doubling.

 

Fees:

Interpretation Events:  $8.00

Platform Events:  $8.00

Lincoln Douglas:  $12.00

Public Forum:  $12.00

Cross-Examination:  $14.00

 

Deadlines:

Wednesday, January 18th:  Preliminary names and possible meal counts

Wednesday, January 25th:  Meal counts will be locked in along with registration fees

Thursday, January 26th:      Registration for adds and drops will close at midnight

1-6 Top finishers in all events except debates

1-3 Top finishers in debates (non-advancing semi-finalists with tie for 3rd)

Sweepstakes

1-2 Top finishers overall for 1A/2A, 3A, and 4A schools

1st for overall Interpretation

1st for overall Platform

1st for overall Debate
