The Creekview High School speech department is pleased to invite you to its TFA qualifying tournament on December 12, 2009. We are once again looking forward to presenting your students with a challenging yet highly rewarding tournament experience.
We are also thrilled to announce that our tournament will be a NIETOC qualifier! (National Individual Events Tournament of Champions.)
We are offering: Cross Examination, Novice Cross Examination Debate, Lincoln-Douglas, Novice Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum Debate, Student Congress, Novice Student Congress, International Extemp, U.S. Extemp, Novice Extemp, Impromptu, Oratory, Duet Acting, Duo Interp, Dramatic Interp, Humorous Interp, Prose and Poetry.
A novice is defined as: "A first year competitor in that event."
Congress Prelims Legislation will be: 1,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,13,15,16,17,19,20,21,24,25,26, 29 & 30
Super Congress Legislation will be: 2,3,7,12,14,18,22,23,27,28,33,35,40,43,46,51,57,59
We are once again offering The Coach Exhibition. This will be judged by competitors. (each school will recieve a ballot and your squad will vote)
Registration will be from 6:30-7:15 in C104
(please be on time so we can all have a GREAT Experience).
We are pleased to announce that the Lewisville Residence Inn will be the tournament hotel. These one bedroom suites will hold up to 4 people and will be held until 11/19/2009 at the group rate of $84 per night plus tax. Call the hotel directly at 972-315-3777 and ask for the Creekview Speech block. The block will be realeased on 11/19/09.
