Dear Friends and Colleagues,

 

The San Angelo Central High School Speech and Debate team cordially invites you to the 2012 Bobcat Bonanza Tournament on February 10 & 11. We hope you can come! This is the perfect tournament to finish up your TFA year and/or get started for UIL!

Registration will begin at 3:45. Rounds will start at 4:15. We will be offering all the standard TFA events, as well as impromptu, prose and poetry (which is reader’s choice).                                                              

 

The deadline for registration is Friday, February 3rd and the deadline for drops is Wednesday, February 8th (at noon). Our goal is to panel all TFA qualifing events starting at the semifinal round. Our goal is to use quality judges so you have a quality chance to do your best. We will do our best to not use and abuse our coaches, but please be prepared to help judge if necessary. If you are bringing a judge with you, please provide us with that information when you register your squad.

We will be providing awards for the Top 3 placing schools, a Squad Efficiency Award, a Top Interper Award (Prose, Poetry, Dramatic, Humorous, & Duet), Top Speaker Award (Extemp, Oratory & Impromptu) and a Top Debater Award (for all debate events).
