Roughrider UIL Invitational Tournament

Center High School invites you to attend our second Roughrider Spring Invitational Tournament.  We will be offering all UIL Academic events (except Computer Science hands-on, written will be offered) including CX and LD debate.  However, if there aren’t enough entries, we will drop CX.  We will also be following the UIL Academic Conflict Pattern.  All events will follow UIL rules and guidelines.

 

Entries will be accepted through Joy of Tournaments.  The deadline for entries will be Wednesday, February 22^nd at 5:00 pm, or until all our spaces are filled.  Judging/Grader requirements are found on the information page.  This is a NTDA qualifier.

 

Concessions will be provided in the cafeteria for students.  Coaches and judges will have refreshments in the Coach’s Lounge.  There are several fast food restaurants near campus and we will provide maps for schools that choose to leave campus.

 

Our goals for our spring tournament are fairly simple: Run on time (especially debate).  Get the results right.  Run on time.  Provide a good experience and practice for the participants.  Run on time.  So, any advice or help that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.  If you are willing to help any of our contest directors, please, contact one of the tournament directors.
