Dear Coach,

We cordially invite you and your students to attend the 62nd Annual Bellaire Forensic Tournament to be held on October 13-14.

This year's tournament offers a number of competitive opportunities for all students ranging from novices all the way through the best students in the state and the country.  Students may compete in either individual events or debate events.  Students in individual events will receive three preliminary rounds followed by semifinals and finals.  Debate students will receive 5 rounds of CX and 6 rounds of Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum.

We are pleased to announce the 5th annual Bellaire Public Forum Round Robin.  Last year the Round Robin brought together some of the best teams in Texas as well as across the country for some early season competition.  The Round Robin will be held on Sunday, October 15.  Click on the Round Robin tab of this invitation for more information.  Deadline for submitting Round Robin applications is Friday September 8.

Several experienced coaches have agreed to help work the IE and Debate tab rooms as well as our Judges Room and Extemp Draw.

We encourage you to enter your students into the tournament as soon as possible.  The last three years we have filled over 100 rooms of competition several weeks prior to the tournament.  Last year Public Forum (quarterfinal TOC bid) had 137 entries.  We anticipate more growth this year.  Enter early to guarantee a spot.  Entries must be received by 5pm Friday, October 6th on Joy of Tournaments.  Name changes must be received by 5pm Tuesday, October 10th .  All changes before that time will be accepted free of charge.  After 5pm Tuesday, final fees are set.  All entries must be made on the Joy of Tournaments.

The Bellaire Forensic Tournament was the first TFA qualifier and we are happy to now offer TOC qualifications.  Others have come and gone, yet we have remained constant.  We invite you to join us in this 62nd anniversary competition.
