Trojan Forensics Invitational

Hello Everyone:

Rigby High School would like to cordially invite you to attend the Trojan Forensics Invitational being held the 22-23 of January.  The tournament will be held at Rigby Senior High School, 290 N. 3800 E. Rigby Idaho. 

As this is the first tournament that I have hosted we have decided to keep it small and focus on excellence as opposed to quantity.  To this end we are limiting our field to debate and a selection of speech events.  We will be offering Open and Novice divisions of all three debate events: Policy, LD and Public Forum.  We are also offering the following speech events: Impromptu, Expository, Original Oratory, Oratorical Analysis, Panel Discussion, After Dinner Speaking, and Sales.  These events were selected as they offer students to compete in a variety of events, some less often seen, that require a wide variety of skill sets. 

The guidelines set out by the Idaho H.S. Activities Association, including the Idaho Debate Code, will be utilized to establish a standard of competition and evaluation. 

Joy of Tournaments will be used for registration and tabulation.  All tournament changes or drops will need to be completed prior to Noon on January, 20.  After this point any drops will be assessed a $25 drop fee.  Drops on the day of the tournament will be assessed a $50 fee.
