Registration will be made on the Joy of Tournaments (JOT) website. Each school is allowed 3 entries and 2 alternates. Please rank the alternates. In each conference some alternates may also compete, due to a low number of entries in that conference. For billing purposes Region 17 classifies 3 types of entries:
1. Competitor $35.00/entry
2. Competing Alternate $35.00/entry (Competes and is eligible to advance.) (Conference numbers dictate whether alternates may compete.
3. Alternate $0.00/entry (Watches. Please rank 1st and 2nd, as they may be certified as a state alternate.) Any "Competing Alternate" takes the place of an "Alternate". (Competing Alternate is a term used by Region 17 for billing purposes.)
Please enter your students on the JOT site accordingly.
The Regional Clerk will review the entry numbers and notify school coaches, based on "Letters of Intent" and actual entries, as to which conferences may enter competing alternates.
