2019 Boerne High School Tournament

Check In

Check in will be at the front of Boerne High School between 7:00am and 7:45 am. Please pick up school maps & packet for your school at check in.  


Checks or Purchase Orders will be accepted.

Hospitality Room & Concessions

A hospitality room for coaches, judges and bus drivers will be located in the Food Lab (Room D132).  The restaurant management class is planning a homemade feast for you.  Coaches willl be able to pick up tests and ballots in the Hospitality Room. Concessions will be selling Breakfast tacos, Hamburgers, Cold drinks, Chips and Snacks. Pre-ordered Meal will also be available at a discount.

Cars and buses may park in front of the school or in the parking lot near the BHS gym and BISD stadium.  Do not park in fire lanes and you will avoid expensive tickets because the local fire marshall does circulate the high school even on Saturdays.


Academic UIL Invitational B tests will be used for testing events.  Independent tests will be used for Spelling Test.
Written test and Hands on Competition  for Computer Science contest will be offered. 


Awards will be given in the BHS Cafeteria to the top six finishers in each event.  The top two teams overall will receive trophies based on aggregate scores for team. Academic team placing will be announced and awards will be given to top team in each event subject such as Best Math Team, Best Science Team, etc.  Team Rankings will be given but only awards for 1st place will be given.

Entry Categories

There will be a 9th/10th grade division and a 11th/12th grade division for math, number sense, calculator and science events only.

There will be a novice category for computer science as well as a veteran category in computer science.  There will be a Hands on Computer Science test with a seperate entry fee of $25.00.

Novice Category is for students that are competing on the UIL team for the first year at the high school level.

Cross entries are accepted with some reservations.  We will not delay testing times if a student is late because they are in another event.

Code of Conduct

Students need to recreate in the cafeteria or outdoor courtyard near cafeteria when not testing.

Please be respectful of students testing and not use cell phones in testing rooms and be mindful of noise levels in hallways.
