Awards - 1st - 3rd medals per conference. Top 3 in each conference advancing to the UIL State contest on January 8th-10th.  Gavels will be awarded to the top POs in each final session.  2 alternates will also be recognized and certified to UIL State from each conference.

Registration will be made on the Joy of Tournaments (JOT) website. Each school is allowed 3 entries and 2 alternates.  Please rank the alternates. In each conference some alternates may also compete, due to a low number of entries in that conference.  For billing purposes Region 17 classifies 3 types of entries:

1.  Competitor  $40.00/entry

2.  Competing Alternate (Competes and is eligible to advance.) $40.00/entry

3.  Alternate (Watches. Please rank, as they may be certified as a state alternate.) $0.00/entry

Please enter your students on the JOT site accordingly.

The Regional Clerk will review the entry numbers and notify school coaches, based on "Letters of Intent", as to which conferences may enter competing alternates.  Most likely we will have a seperate chamber for 1A,  2A, and 5A, with two preliminary sessions for the combined 3A, 4A,  and 6A chamber. Schools may enter as few as one competitor.

Please check back for updated numbers which will be listed below. (This may change daily based on entries.  The Regional Clerk will notify you if your conference numbers change to effect entries.):
