Dear Director of Forensics:

 

On behalf of the Texas Intercollegiate Forensics Association, I would like to extend a sincere invitation for you and your students to compete at our open tournament.  The swing will be held on the campus of San Jacinto College - North, October 30- November 1, 2009. 

 

The tournament hotel is the La Quinta Inn & Suites, located at 5220 E. Sam Houston Parkway North, Houston, TX 77015.  Their phone number is 281.452.4402.  When making the reservations, be sure to ask for "TIFA." The rate is $69.99.  Continental breakfast is included. Texas schools will also need to bring your tax-exempt number if you do not wish to pay tax.  Reservations must be made by October 22nd, 2009.

 

The members of the TIFA Tournament Committee and the forensics program at San Jacinto College - North have been preparing what should be competitive, enjoyable tournaments, including competition in Debate and all Individual Events. We look forward to seeing you on October 30th for some outstanding competition.

 

 UPDATE: We will be offering a fabulous door prize at the Sunday awards ceremony.  All students will be eligible to win an 8GB orange IPOD Nano.  Made possible by the generosity of the San Jacinto College North Career & Employment Center and Best Buy.
