Dear Colleagues

Socorro Independent School District invites all Socorro Elementary Schools to participate in the 2012 UIL Elementary District Meet. Students enrolled in any SISD Elementary school in second through fifth grades are eligible to be selected to represent their school. The contest affords students opportunities to compete in a variety of Academic content areas. Schools will be participating in two divisions:. Red Division and Blue Division. Please verify the division in which your school will compete by checking the Red/Blue Divisions on this webpage.

 There is no entry fee for any SISD Elementary School participating. For complete contest rules and information, please refer to the rules page on this website.

 This year’s contest is co-hosted by Sierra Vista Elementary and Walter C. Clarke Middle School.

The 2011 UIL Elementary District Meet will be held on Friday, Fevruary 17 and Saturday, February 18, 2012. Entries are due by February 7. Email all alternates to Catherine Morrel cmorre01@sisd.net. When emailing alternates, please put your school's name and the word "alternates" in the subject of the Email.  We look forward to seeing you at Sierra Vista and Clarke!
