Royse City High School Forensics Department 720 S FM 2642 Royse, TX 75189 (972) 636-9991 Ext. 2641 Dear Forensics Coaches, We are thrilled to invite you to attend the Royse City High School Bulldog Classic speech and debate tournament. Our tournament will be held Saturday October 29th. This tournament is a certified Northeast Texas Debate Association Championships Qualifier for Cross-Examination Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Informative and Persuasive Extemporaneous Speaking, and Prose and Poetry Interpretation. If there are enough entries, we will also offer Public Forum Debate, Congressional Debate, Humorous and Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, and Original Oratory.
Because this tournament comes at the start of the season, there will be a novice and varsity division of Extemporaneous Speaking (Informative and Persuasive), Oral Interpretation (Prose and Poetry), Cross-Examination Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Congressional Debate. Each debater will receive three rounds of competition and each individual events competitor will receive two guaranteed rounds of competition.
