Randall High School UIL Meet February 11, 2012
Dear UIL Coaches, We would like to invite you to the Randall High School UIL Meet on Saturday, February 11, 2012. We will offer all UIL academic events except speech events and computer science. UIL rules will be followed as closely as possible except in math and science. Math and science events will be graded by grade levels. Entry fees will be $5.00 per student per academic event. Entries will be made using the Joy of Tournaments website. Entry deadline is Friday, February 10th at 4:00pm. You can bring checks (made out to Randall High School UIL Academics) with you to the tournament. We will be using UIL Set B Contest Material. Coaches will be asked/encouraged to help us grade the events when possible. You will be able to use computers at Randall for Journalism, Computer Applications, and Ready Writing. Entry limits will be put into place for those events to accommodate for computer use. Trophies will be awarded for first through third places, and ribbons will be awarded for fourth though six places. We will also be awarding a trophy for the first place team in the team events. First place Sweepstakes trophies will be awarded in both a large school (5A and 4A) and small school (3A, 2A and 1A) divisions for accumulating the most team points.
