Rains ISD would like to invite you to the 4th  annual Lela Fisher Memorial U.I.L. Invitational Meet. It will be held on March 3, 2012 at Rains High School. We will host all UIL events from the Spring Meet. Medals will be awarded for 1st - 6th places in all events. All math and the science contest will give awards 1st-6th places in each grade level. Computer science will be the written test only. Team trophies will also be awarded in all events that are classified as team events by the U.I.L. We are charging $6.00 per individual event, $10.00 for speaking events, and $15.00 for the debate events. 

We will be using all new tests from private vendors. All math and science tests will be TMSCA, and social studies and current events will use MRC.

We are holding this meet this late in the year to give you one last chance to practice before district. We will allow you to enter six people in the U.I.L. events that call for four. This will enable you to give those alternates some practice or make the decision on who that 4th competing member will be in district. In speaking, we will allow six per event for the same reason.

We are located on HWY 69, 2 miles north of the intersection of HWY 69 and HWY 19. We have made it from our school to the Interstate 30 and 635 intersection in a little over an hour. YES, BY BUS.

We will have pizza, hotdogs, nachos, and such for the students to purchase. We will have a Hospitality room for coaches and judges.
