All Section "A" and "B" events in the HIGH SCHOOL 
All Debate events in the JUNIOR HIGH 
 

Section A Events:  Poetry, Dramatic, Domestic Extemp, Foreign Extemp, Impromptu
Section B Events:  Prose, Humorous, Duet Acting, Original Oratory
Student congress conducted separately at 9:00am and 2:00pm

Debate: C-X, L-D and Public Forum

Students may enter two events in each category. 
Students may not enter both extemps.
Debaters may not cross-enter.
Congresspersons may not cross-enter.

When registering, please add who will be judging for you.  Coaches will have to judge occasionally.

Prose/Poetry will be Reader's Choice each round.  Students will NOT be required to have either UIL category, but may use them if desired.

TFA rules will be followed in all events.

Coaches may be asked to judge early rounds. 

Student Congress Prelims: Bills 1-20; Finals 21-40

Registration in the Commons area.

Entry Fees: 

Individual Events & Congress $12.00
LD, CX, PF and Duo/Duet is $15.00

Drop deadline is 4:00pm on Friday, September 30.  Drops after that time will forfeit the original entry fee.

If you have Saturday morning drops (no later than 7:00am), call 806-946-9453 (Dr. Moore) or 806-773-0162 (Brent Hinkle) between 6:30am and 7:00am.  If not, an additional $25 drop fee will be added. 

THE TOURNAMENT WILL BEGIN ON TIME!! IF YOU ARRIVE LATER THAN 7:45, YOUR STUDENTS COULD MISS ROUND 1. 

DIRECTIONS

Buses park in the large parking lot on the west side of the high school.

Turn left on 3rd Street next to the Shell Station or go to 5th Street and turn left.  (Please note these are directions coming in from the east.)  High School is located 7 blocks south.
