Lehman Lobo Invitational

You are cordially invited to the Lehman Lobo UIL Invitational Meet to be held on Saturday January 28, 2012.

Address:  Lehman High school, 1700 Lehman Rd. Kyle, TX 78640

Events: All UIL Academic and Speech Events.

Speech events include:  Novice LD, Advanced LD, Novice CX, Advanced CX, Prose, Poetry, Informative, and Persuasive speaking

Academics includes:  Accounting, Calculator, Current Events, Journalism (all four of them), Literary Criticism, Mathematics, Number Sense, Ready Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Spelling.

Computer Events:  Computer Science will feature a written and a hands-on test.  We will run the CS hands-on test off our own PC^2 network set up.  We will also feature Computer Applications. Please note registration restrictions.

Registration Deadline:  The registration deadline is January 25, 2012.  If you are entering speech and debate events and will be waiting until the deadline to register, a preliminary email to Gina Lozano at lozanog@hayscisd.net estimating the number of entries and judges would be appreciated so we can secure a sufficient number of judges.

Awards

·         Ribbons for all places 1-6 with divisions between Novice and Veterans for all Math and Science and Debate Events.

·         Certificates for Team champions and Team Runner up.

Entries:  At Lehman, we recognize that many Academic programs have been hit with sharp budget cuts.  So, we have scaled back on the awards to allow us to reduce prices on the entry fees.
