KATY TIGER UIL INVITATIONAL
The UIL Academic staff and the Speech and Debate team of Katy High School would like to welcome you and your students to the Katy High School UIL tournament to be held on the campus of Katy High School in Katy, Texas on February 18, 2012. For our tournament we will be offering all of the usual UIL events with the exception of CX debate. We will also add some fun events to our schedule to allow your students to remain engaged while on our campus. Please check our schedule page for the list of all of our events and times. Our schedule will be tight, so it is imperative that all students be on campus and ready to compete by 8:00. Please check the schedule also for the conflict pattern. We have tried to keep the schedule as close to the UIL one day schedule as possible. We will hire judges in LD debate and Journalism; however, we expect all coaches and sponsors MUST be ready to help grade and judge. You are requested to enter your students on the joy of tournaments website at: http://www.joyoftournaments.com. We will accept entries until we have reached capacity with rooms. We will have a hospitality room for Coaches, judges, graders, and bus drivers. We will also operate a concession stand for students throughout the day offering breakfast, lunch and snack items as well as a variety of drink items.
