 Invites you and your Speech Squad to the 

Sixth Annual

Peggy Wallace Invitational

On Saturday, January 30, 2010

 

        The Holliday High School Speech and Drama Department would like to cordially invite you and your Speech Squad to our Annual Speech and Drama Tournament.  We offer a variety of fun events as well as the traditional favorites.  Registration will be available on the web at www.joyoftournaments.com.  In the interest of providing quality competition, we hope to get as many schools as possible to attend the tournament. 

 

Why should you make the trek out to Holliday?  We can provide: an opportunity for your squad to experience a quick, one-day Speech Tournament during the Fall Semester; quality competition; a method to jump start your squad for the Spring; an outlet for the Drama Queens and Debate Junkies to have a controlled environment of self-expression; and we are located only fifteen minutes southwest of Wichita Falls.

 

If you have never attended a Speech Tournament before then this is the tournament for you.  We traditionally run a small tournament with Novice and Experienced Divisions guaranteed in every U.I.L. event except Debate.  Debate will remain Novice and Experienced as long as numbers allow.  We also offer various fun events like Group Improvisation, Impromptu Speaking, Impromptu Interp, Bible Reading, Solo Acting, and Group Lip Sync.  We hope that you can join us for a day of quality acting, reading, speaking, and debating.  We look forward to seeing you on January 30th!
