Dear Faculty Members and Students:

 

The Houston ISD UIL Academic Department invites you to the 2012 Houston ISD UIL Academic Meet at Westside High School.  This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2012. This contest is open to participating Houston ISD schools. 

 

In keeping within UIL guidelines, Students may compete in one testing event per time slot. All events will be governed by the UIL rules as contained in the 2011-2012 UIL Constitution and Contest Rules (CC&R). (An online version of the CC&R is available by clicking  UIL Constitution Online). In addition, I'm always available to answer any of your questions.   

 

In order to allow students to sharpen their skills for the district meet, this meet will be offering only core UIL contests. 

 

Please remember, we need school support to run these events smoothly and on time. Schools registering need to bring at least one adult to serve as a Contest Director, Grader, or Proctor.

 

Please don't delay, as registration closes on Friday January 28 2012, at 5:00 pm. 

 

If you are interested in serving as a contract judge, please email me your request along with a description of your judging experience.
