Hosted by Bradley University and the University of Texas at Austin Austin, Texas January 14 and 15, 2012 Dear Friends and Colleagues: We invite you to join us for the Thirteenth annual Hell Froze Over Swing for colleges and universities, to be hosted by our two friendly forensics programs this year on the campus of UT Austin, January 14 and 15, 2012. This year’s swing offers you a number of benefits, including a chance for your students to spend some time close to the site of this year's AFA Nationals, but in our minds the most important is the celebration of the continuing friendship not just between our programs, but between ALL programs! The swing will consist of two, one-day tournaments, reducing your travel time. Each tournament will offer all eleven AFA-NIET events and will follow AFA rules for all events and the tabulation thereof. There will be an early registration and coaches' reception Friday, January 13 (there's that lucky number again), from 7:00-9:00 at the AT&T Conference Center on the UT campus. That registration will run as part of our alumni reunion, and will be a good chance for many coaches to catch up with former UT students, many of whom will be judging throughout the weekend.
