Dear Colleagues,

You are cordially invited to the 4th Annual Hawk Classic TFA State Qualifier at Hendrickson High School on September 19 & 20.  Please join us for a quality tournament experience with qualified judges, excellent hospitality and a positive educational experience for your forensic competitors in the heart of the capital region.

This year’s tournament will offer TFA qualification in the following events:  Cross-Examination Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Student Congress, Duet Acting, Duo Interpretation, Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, International Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, Humorous Interpretation, and Dramatic Interpretation.  We will also offer Novice divisions of both CX and LD as well as Extemp, Poetry and Prose.  We will also be offering Original Poetry again this year.  This event is a fusion of Original Oratory and Slam Poetry designed to encourage advocacy through creative expression.


This year we are particularly pleased to offer a special hospitality service for hire for all the hard-working members of the forensic community:  a certified massage therapist will open shop on our "Hospitality Hallway."  We also hope to have "Hyper Hawk Coffee" giving away whipped cream topped caffeine goodness free to all our adult guests.  We will provide a full hospitality menu for coaches, judges, chaperones and drivers. 

We know you have a choice of tournaments and appreciate your choosing us.  We look forward to seeing you her!
