You are cordially invited to attend the Hawk UIL Academic Tournament on February 4, 2012.  Please join us at Robert E. Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, Texas.  This year we are excited to offer your students the chance to participate in our Academic Competitors College Fair again this year - a unique event that allows your highly qualified students to gain access to college and university recruiters who are specifically interested in Academic Competitors and Debaters.  Our parents and community will offer hospitality to all our adult guests and a snack bar will be provided for students.    

Our philosophy is that practice meets should nurture and encourage those competitors who are new to UIL Academics as well as provide challenging environments to more experienced competitors. Therefore, we are offering extensive awards and recognition for our novice competitors in the academic events as well as the traditional 1^st through 6^th places and 1^st place team events in all designated academic events.  We will award top three 9^th graders and top three 10^th graders in each of our test events when numbers merit this division.  Please review our Event Information to familiarize yourself with our awards opportunities.
