Dear Forensic Coaches:

The Cypress Falls Forensic Team cordially invites you and your students to participate in our middle school Tournament of Champions on Feb 3-4, 2012 . The Cy-Falls campus is conveniently located off of Hwy 290 at Huffmeister Road. The tournament traditionally fills up quickly.  We will not be able to take entries when the tournament is full. As always, we look forward to providing your team with an opportunity to participate in a competitive learning experience.

The tournament will feature a host of speech and debate events. 6^th and 7^th graders will compete in the novice division, while the 8^th graders will be competing in the senior division. Students may enter no more than two events per section. The debate topic for PF will be the January topic (college costs), and the topic for LD will be the January/February topic (domestic violence). The wording for each topic can be found on NFLonline.org

All events are open to middle school students and will be judged by experienced speech and debate students across the Cy-Fair District. Each school is allowed 35 entries in each novice event and 25 entries in each senior event. Entries must be entered on Joy of Tournaments. Fees must be paid no later than February 4^th. Drops after January 27, 2012 at 4 p.m. will not be refunded. You can make name substitutions at the registration table the morning of the tournament.
