Center High School

"It's Not Set A Extravaganza"

Saturday, January 27, 2018

Center High School invites you to attend our "It's Not Set A Extravaganza".  We will be offering all UIL Academic events (except Computer Science hands-on, written will be offered) including CX and LD debate.  We will also be following the UIL Academic Conflict Pattern.  All events will follow UIL rules and guidelines.  We will use third-party materials (Hexco, TMSCA) for all academic events.

Entries will be accepted through Joy of Tournaments.  The deadline for entries will be Wednesday, January 24th at 5:00 pm, or until all our spaces are filled.  Judging/Grader requirements are found on the information page.

Concessions will be provided for students.  Coaches and judges will have refreshments in the Coach’s Lounge.  There are several fast food restaurants near campus.

Our goals for any tournament are fairly simple: Run on time (especially debate).  Get the results right.  Run on time.  Provide a good experience and practice for the participants.  Run on time.  So, any advice or help that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.  If you are willing to help any of our contest directors, please, contact one of the tournament directors.

We look forward to your visit to our campus.
