January 5, Friday @ 4:00 p.m. Congress Legislation due. Maximum 4 bills per school by e-mail only in one Word document to the following OR send the number from the NC Legislation bank:
January 8, Monday Congressional legislation will be posted on the www.scspeechanddebate.org
January 10, Wednesday @ 5:00 p.m. Registration on Joy of Tournaments website.
January 11, Thursday Coaches may update registration until
5 p.m. on JOT webpage.
January 12, Friday Final Verification
January 13, Saturday 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. Registration at Hillcrest High School

Multiple Entries: TRIPLE ENTRIES ARE ALLOWED.
However, no double entries for Congress, LD, and PDF participants. Extempers may double ONLY in Impromptu.
Events: We reserve the right to merge or cancel events base on entries and judges.
Congress: We reserve the right to use legislation from the NC Congressional bank to supplement bills submitted by participating schools if necessary and/or desired.
Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the top six participants in each event if there
are at least 10 entries in the event. There will also be three trophies for the
top teams overall. The percentage trophy will go to the school with at least 5 competitors having the highest
percentage of wins and does not qualify for the sweepstakes trophies.
PAYMENT: MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO HILLCREST HIGH SCHOOL.
