Awards will be presented to the twenty most superior speakers in Lincoln-Douglas debate during an assembly calling together all debaters and coaches across the three divisions of competition. The top speaker in Lincoln-Douglas Debate will be presented with the Peter Colavito Award, named in honor one half of the pair from Bronx Science that closed out the 1988 Tournament of Champions. (Jonathan Koppell, his partner in this achievement, is the namesake of the matching top speaker award at the Bronx Round Robin.)

The Richard B. Sodikow Award in Lincoln-Douglas Debate will be presented to the champion. It is named for the founder of the Bronx Science program. Sodikow is a member of the TOC Hall of Fame, the NFL Hall of Fame, the Gold Key Society of the Barkley Forum for High Schools, and Blue, Green, and Gold Society of the Glenbrooks. He was the first-ever recipient of the NDCA Lifetime Achievement Award and was also a recipient of the Bronx Achievement Award in the first year it was presented.

Awards will be presented to the ten most superior speakers in Team Debate during an assembly calling together all debaters and coaches across the three divisions of competition. The top speaker in Team Debate will be presented with the Gloria Cabada-Leman Award, which recognizes the Bronx Science alumna who was the last female top speaker at the National Debate Tournament in collegiate policy debate; Leman was an incredibly talented speaker in events as far-ranging as extemporaneous speaking and policy debate. Awards for outround participants will be conferred in each round by the chair of the judging panel, with the exception of the final round.

The champions in Public Forum Debate will receive the David Yalof Trophy. The award is named for the 1984 National Champion in Lincoln-Dougalas debate, who also proved the value of persuasive and analytical speech when he claimed the Liberty Bell Classic titles in both LD and extemporaneous speaking.
