Nevada State Speech & Debate Tournament 2017

Dear Nevada Speech & Debate Coaches:

Your speech and debate program is cordially invited to the Nevada State Speech and Debate Tournament, March 16-17, 2018 at Arbor View High School in Las Vegas, NV.   

You will find detailed information concerning the tournament along with entry forms, deadlines, and a schedule of events on the following pages. 

The important dates for this tournament are as follows:

            Legislation due:                            Wednesday, February 7 by 3:00 PM

            Legislation sent to schools            Wednesday, February 14 by 3:00 PM

            Entries due:                                   Monday, March 12 by 3:00 PM

            Final Adds/Drops                           Thursday, March 15, at 3:00 PM

 Welcome Letter

Dear Nevada Forensic Coaches and Colleagues:

The Arbor View Speech and Debate Team along with The Nevada Forensic League are proud to invite you to the Annual Nevada State Forensic Tournament to be held March 16-17 at Arbor View High School (7500 Whispering Sands Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89131)

During the tournament there will be concessions set up in the Cafeteria.  

Entries for the State Tournament will be made through Joyoftournaments.com and be available now. Schools are allowed two entries per event in IE’s, Policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate, Public Forum, and three in Congressional Debate. There will only be one Open Division for each event. A student may enter in one debate event and up to two IE’s. No missed rounds due to student error will be rerun.
