Tarheel East District Congressional & Policy Debate Tournament
On Saturday, February 25th, the Tarheel East District will be holding the first portion of the NSDA District Tournament. We will be hosting the Congressional Debate Qualifier in conjuction with the Policy Debate Qualifier at the North Carolina General Assembly Building and Offices in Raleigh, North Carolina.
This tournament determines who competes in Congressional & Policy Debate from our district at the NSDA National Tournament June 17th through 24th, 2017, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Registration will be held that morning in the General Assembly Building. As registration finishes, we will begin competition immediately. All of your paperwork will need to be organized and signed. Please help us begin on time by having this done ahead of time. (Paperwork is discussed in detail on an additional webpage)
Each school must complete a District Congress Tournament Registration Form. This form is automatically completed for you after you enter and complete your registration on Joy of Tournaments. This form must be full completed, printed, signed, and turned into Crawford Leavoy by February 18, 2017 (per NSDA rules). Please send as registered mail to Crawford Leavoy 17 Great Oak Court, Durham, NC, 27713. All students and judges must be concurrently registered for the tournaemnt on the Joy of Tournaments website as well. We must have both the electronic and hard copy version of your reigistration.
