     Consider this your invitation to the 2012 Deep South District Congress to be held on Saturday, February 11th at The Montgomery Academy in Montgomery, Alabama. Please consult your tournament manual for specific rules. Every school may enter 2 in the Senate and then your numbers in the House is based entirely on how many members and degrees your school has on file with the NFL on February 4th. PLEASE DO YOUR POINTS.

     We must have a total of 8 schools participating in order for us to qualify 4 students to the National Tournament. Even if you only enter 1 student, this will help! Please attend your Deep South District Congress! 

     **Entry Fees will be $10 per entry in Congress. This year, all schools must pay their entry fees. Please make checks out to - Deep South District.

     ***New for this year will be the use of judges in each chamber that do not directly work with the students that are entered in the competition. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pass along to me any names of people that you think would have some knowledge of congressional type debate and/or parliamentary procedure. These can't be judges that you have hired to judge for you in the past.
