Dear Coaches:
We will be registering through Joy of Tournaments again this year. This is the same program that you used to register national qualifiers last year.
Instead of mailing in the green sheet, you will go to the nflonline.org web site. Go to District Information on the grey bar. Under there you will find District Tournament Forms and Manuals at the side. You may actually enter your names and info there (do not worry about the publishing info as you enter that on this site). You must get student/principal signatures. Please BRING THIS TO REGISTRATION ON THE 17th!
Please check to be sure you have paid your NFL dues. Any dues still owed may be paid at registration, but must be paid before rounds start. Make checks for dues and memberships payable to NFL.
Make checks for tournament registration payable to Lyle Linerode OR WO-NFL as he will be cashing them to use to pay judges. Also check your ratios. Again this year joy of tournaments is logged into NFLs and will not let you put in a student not on your list or over your ratio or who is not a member!
Please do your best to bring as many entries as you are allowed as that will make a difference in our qualifiers. It will also help your degree numbers which will help the district stay healthy!
Two person teams of any kind (pf, duo, etc.) count as one entry.
IT IS IMPORTANT YOU CALL FRIDAY MORNING THE 17th WITH ANY DROPS OR CHANGES. THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE FOR DROPS BEFORE 9:00 A.M. BARRING SUDDEN ILLNESS, DROPS AFTER THAT TIME WILL BE CHARGED.

WHAT: NFL District Tournament Registration Information
WHEN: February 17 and 18, 2012
WHERE: Notre Dame Academy
FEES: $10.00 per contestant. Make checks payable to Western Ohio NFL. A
check for registration fees must be there at the start of the tournament.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: Saturday, February 11, 2012-8:00 a.m.This means completed with judges on the web site.
JUDGES: You must furnish: one judge for every debate team; one judge for every
Lincoln-Douglas debater; and one judge for every three (or fraction thereof)
contestants in Individual Events. Judges must be 2011 graduates or older. If
judges are only one year out they may judge all events except the one they
competed in except in debate. If parents or other relatives of students are judging, they MAY
NOT judge the category in which the student is competing. Please be sure to
indicate any school, category or relative conflicts on the web site.
STOPWATCHES: Please make sure that every judge is furnished with a stopwatch
for accurate timing. Tab will not penalize for time.

NUMBER OF QUALIFIERS TO NATIONALS: Normally we have enough students in each
category to send two champions in each event to the National Tournament. This
year, please, make every effort to bring every student you are entitled to
bring.

Here are some important tips for a successful weekend!
1. Please remain quiet in the halls between rounds. Others are still
competing. PLEASE ADHERE TO THE SCHEDULE.
2. Do not leave the building. Both judges and competitors need to be
available for schedule changes and announcements as they occur.
3. Registration is from 3:15– 3:45 at Notre Dame
4. Rounds will be flighted in ALL Events. The first round for all events will
be at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
