2017 Puget Sound NSDA Congress
Dates: 2/25/2017

National Speech & Debate Association
Puget Sound
Congressional Debate Tournament

February 25, 2017

This year congress is again a separate event to be held at the State Capital Complex in Olympia, in the John Cherbourg building.

Some Important Notes about Congress: Congress is completely separate from the main tournament, and it is free of charge.  In fact, we supply judges, so you don’t even need those.  So, if you’re a team who does just debate, this is an opportunity to try congress with no charge or judge commitment.  All you have to do is register and get to the state capital. There are limitations on how many you can enter and you can find those on the NSDA site under your school.  All schools may enter two senators and no more, regardless of the school size.

The Tournament Schedule for Congress:

Congressional Debate Session One:

11:00 to 3:00 (Includes introductions, rules, etc.)

Break and food (provided for you):
