                                THIS ALL DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF JUDGES.

 

QUALIFERS:        PARTICIPANTS POLICY DEBATE & PUBLIC FORUM

                                4-9 entries = 1 qualifier        10-29 entries = 2 qualifiers  30+ entries = 3 qualifiers

 

NOTES:  1.  Students may NOT double enter this tournament  (if they enter a debate event, they can only enter one IE at Nat Quals IE)

 2. Students may NOT enter multiple debate events

  3. Students who enter Policy Debate or Public Forum can NOT enter Duo at Nat Quals IE

  **4.  STUDENTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 25 NFL POINTS, AND BE ACTIVE MEMBERS AS DEFINED BY THE NATIONAL FORENSIC LEAGUE AT LEAST 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT

PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP     Students must be members of the National Forensic League 10 days before the tournament. You can prove this by printing out your chapter roster from www.nflonline.org and submitting It along with your green sheet:

      JUDGES:        

·       YOU MUST BRING 1 JUDGE FOR EVERY TWO ENTRIES OR FRACTION THEREOF IN

        EACH EVENT.

YOUR JUDGE SHOULD COMMIT TO STAYING FOR TWO ROUNDS AFTER YOU ARE

ELIMINATED

YOUR JUDGES WILL NOT BE PAID

  •  but with the money you are saving in entry fees, YOU are more than welcome to pay them.

                                                               

 

 

JUDGING:     All judging problems must be resolved by the Committee.  If a coach wishes to lodge a protest

PROTEST:     against a particular judge, he must lodge that protest to the committee at registration for

                debate on Thursday and for IE’s during registration on Friday.  A coach can NOT lodge a protest

                                against an entire slate of judges from a particular institution.

PLEASE ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR STUDENTS ARE GOING TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT IF THEY QUALIFY.  IN PAST YEARS WE HAVE HAD SLOTS OPEN WHERE OUR QUALIFIER BACKED OUT TOO LATE.  I REALIZE EMERGENCIES OCCUR, BUT PLEASE MAKE A GREAT EFFORT TO MAKE SURE YOUR STUDENTS ARE GOING TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Rounds will continue as quickly as we can get them out and as long as we have judges. If it gets too late, we’ll continue on Sunday                                                   

2006 WE ONLY HAD TO HAVE ONE ROUND ON SUNDAY

2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 had NO rounds on Sunday

that does NOT mean it won't happen this year

MAKE SURE YOUR ACCOUNT WITH THE NFL IS PAID IN FULL.  YOU MAY PAY THE NFL AHEAD OF ANY NEW MEMBERS YOU MAY ENROLL.   PLEASE PLAN AHEAD. YOU MAY BRING A CHECK MADE OUT TO THE NFL WITH YOU TO THE TOURNAMENT. I WIL SUBMIT IT FOR YOU IF NEEDED.
