The Raymond Central High School Central Players cordially invite you to attend our 23rd annual Mustang Invitational on January 16, 2010. You may register for events via the Joy of Tournaments website at http://www.joyoftournaments/ne/raymond. Our tournament will be flighted with registration running from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. A General Meeting will be held at 8:15 a.m. in the Gym.
Think Green Update: If you attended our meet last year, please remember to bring your tote bag back for your ballots! Remember, you do receive a small prize for THINKING GREEN!
Each school may have up to three entries in each event except for Duo Impromptu, Duet, and OID, which may only have two. (Please don't ask for more as we do not have the room to accomodate.) Students may double enter in each flight except for students in extemp. (They may not double enter in that flight, but they can in the other.) NSAA rules will be followed.
TRIATHLON COMPETITION: A student may enter in the triathlon if they are entered in three individual events. Duet and OID are NOT individual events. All contest rules apply. Remember, if any student is in extemp, the other two events must come from Flight B.
Championship, runner up, and third place team sweepstakes will be presented. Triathlon awards will be given to the top three individuals. The top 4 OIDs and top 5 Duets will advance to Finals. The top ten in each other event will advance to Finals and Honors Finals. (The top five in Finals, the next five will be in Honors Finals.) All finalists will be given awards. Round ribbons will also be given.
Events with more than 50 entries will have 3 prelim judges. Events with under 50 will only have 2 prelim judges.
You must furnish one judge for every 6 entries or part thereof. (6 entries = 1 judge, 7 entries = 2 judges) There will be a $20 charge for each open judging slot. Remember, if you want to judge, you count as one judge. All judges must be available for finals. (Failure to do so will result in a $20 charge to your school.)
