The Marian Speech Team cordially invites you and your team to join us for our annual Black Book-a-Thon Speech Tournament on Friday, February 10th, 2012. ENTRY DEADLINE IS 4PM ON TUESDAY, FEB 7, 2012.Individual Event Rules Competitors may double enter; however, no triple entries please. No competitor may use the same script or parts of the same script in more than one event. We will offer all 9 of the NSAA events, as well as Impromptu Speaking (Draw 3 topics, pick one with 5 minutes prep time, 5 minutes maximum speaking, 1 note card optional.) Entry Limits Each school is limited to FIVE entries per event; except OID, the limit is TWO entries. There will be a wait-list and if space allows, more may be allowed. Judges You must provide one adult judge for each five entries. You may hire a portion of a judge for $12.00 per uncovered slot. Please try to cover your judge slots. Entry Deadline The entry deadline is 4PM Tuesday, February 7th. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT DATE. Please make all checks payable to Marian High School. Please call or email in any drops as soon as possible. Entries will be accepted on www.joyoftournaments.com ONLY. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF ROOMS AND ENTRIES WILL BE CLOSED ONCE WE HAVE REACHED OUR LIMIT. THEREFORE, THE ENTRY DEADLINE MAY BE EARLIER THAN THE 7TH.
