We are excited to extend this invitation to attend the 2010 Lincoln Southwest Silver Talon Speech Tournament. The competition will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010. We hope you and your team have the opportunity to attend our seventh annual tournament.
We are pleased to announce that we are a bid tournament for the 2010 National Individual Events Tournament of Champions. Please discover more about the NIETOC at www.nietoc.com. Registration will be held in the LSW main lobby and extemp prep will occur in the media center. We are changing the format of our tournament to facilitate the NIETOC bid process.
Key differences for this year include
*Three preliminary rounds in all the events.
*We will offer separate divisions for Duo Interpretation and Duet Acting.
*Students may double within a flight and triple-enter overall.
*Semifinals & Finals in the NIETOC events (Duo, HI, DI, OO, Duet) as long as events have more than 50 contestants
*Champs Finals (Top 6) and Honors Finals (7-12) for Flight B events and Entertainment.
