We are excited to extend this invitation to attend the 2012 Lincoln Southwest Silver Talon Speech Tournament.  The competition will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012.   We hope you and your team have the opportunity to attend our eighth annual tournament. We are pleased to announce that we are a Region 3 bid tournament for the 2012 National Individual Events Tournament of Champions. Please discover more about the NIETOC at www.nietoc.com.

Registration will be held in the LSW main lobby and extemp prep will occur in the media center. We have modified the format of our tournament to facilitate the NIETOC bid process.

Key aspects for this year include:

• Three preliminary rounds in all the events.

• We will offer separate divisions for Duo Interpretation and Duet Acting. Students may enter both but must perform a different selection in each.

• Students may double within a flight and quad-enter overall.

• Semifinals & Finals in the NIETOC events (HI, DI, OO, DUO)

• Champs Finals (Top 6) and Honors Finals (7-12) for Flight B events and Entertainment.
