Dear Forensic Coach:
The Terry Sanford High School Forensic Team cordially invites you to attend the fourth annual Pamela Waldher FTS Invitational High School Forensic Tournament on Saturday, October 25, 2008. We are located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. For your convenience, a map to our school is included within the attached registration packet.
We will be offering competition in the following events: Varsity and Novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Varsity and Novice Public Forum Debate, Varsity and Novice Congressional Debate, Extemporaneous Speaking, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Oral Interpretation, Original Oratory, Impromptu, Duo Interpretation, and Story Telling. Enclosed, you will find the rules governing these events at our tournament, as well as, other relevant information pertaining to schedules and registration.
Please keep in mind that the deadline for receipt of your registration is Wednesday, October 22, 2008, by 5:00 PM. Your registration may be filled out online at www.joyoftournaments.com. Substitutions may be made through Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 5:00pm after which time there will be a drop fee.
You may email (in attached Word format only) legislation for our tournament by October 15th. Since we will not be faxing or e-mailing the legislation to schools, all schools competing in congress should download/print the legislation from this website: www.joyoftournaments.com. Furthermore, all schools must bring their own copies of the legislation to the tournament. Extra copies will not be available.
