Cougar Classic 2010

 

 

Dear Coaches,

 

The Lawrence County High School Forensics team is excited to invite you to our 2010 Cougar Classic Speech and Debate Tournament. Consider this your special invitation to attend Friday and Saturday February 12-13, 2010, on the Lawrence County High School Campus in Monticello, Mississippi.

The Cougar Classic will offer Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Public Forum Debate on Friday night.

Congress will be offered on Saturday. We will also offer the following Individual Events:

Expository Speaking                                Television Commentary

Storytelling                                                  Original Oratory

Impromptu                                                   Declamation

Extemporaneous Speaking                    Duo Interpretation

Oral Interpretation of Literature            Humorous Interpretation

Dramatic Interpretation

 

 

The site will be closed on Tuesday, February 9 at 3:00. All changes need to be made before then. All Congress bills that were sent for the January date will be used for the February date. Any new bills or resolutions can be sent to csandifer@lawrence.k12.ms.us. Please make sure all bills are done as a WORD document. I am leaving all entries as they were for the original date. Those schools will just need to change entries as they need to be done. Please e-mail me with any questions. I hope to see all of you on February 12-13!
