Dear Speech Coach,

The administration of Eastview High School and Coaching Staff of the Eastview Lightning Speech Team would like to invite your team to participate in the 15th annual Eastview Lightning Speech Invitational on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Again this year, instead of offering two final rounds spanning the top 14 speakers (Champion: top 1-7 and Honors: top 8-14), we are offering two separate DIVISONS for competition.

The Lightning Invitational will provide your team the opportunity to be divided into a "Champion Division" (meant for your 'varsity' team members - or those who wish to compete on that level), and an "Open Division" for your less experienced members, with final rounds for each.

Both divisions will have all 13 MSHSL categories and, as always, will provide those students in NFL categories the opportunity to compete under NFL Rules.

We hope you will find Joy of Tournaments a user-friendly way to register your team and maintain changes.  Entry deadline is Monday, February 20th.  Fees will be assessed for any drops made after Wednesday, February 22nd at 5:00 p.m., however, we encourage you to update your registration up until 6:00am Saturday morning as we are site scheduling. 

In addition to top-notch competition, our concession stand and judges'/coaches' lounge will feature a virtual cornucopia of wholesome (and not-so-wholesome) fare. We want to treat you and your students to the best overall tournament experience possible.
