Invitation to WKU/OU Fall Fiesta

Dear Colleagues:

Fall is fast approaching, and with it comes many exciting and familiar experiences. Leaves will start changing their colors, new school supplies will be broken into, and the 2012 Western Kentucky University/Miami University Forensics Fiesta Swing will be held on September 28th through the 30th. The tournament will take place on the campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY, and a full bevy of forensics fun will be offered, including:

•    A Parliamentary Debate Tournament

•    A Lincoln-Douglas Debate Tournament

•    2 Individual Events Tournaments

•    Novice divisions in debate and top novice in IE (assuming sufficient entries)

•    Team Awards for the top three schools in debate and IE

•    Top Speaker Awards in debate

•    Quadrathon Awards in IE’s

•    Overall Awards for schools competing in both debate and IE

•    A Quality Award based on the percentage of breaks to entry ratio

•    And more fall foliage and school supplies than you can shake a stick at!!
