Kansas Individual Events and Parliamentary Debate State Tournament January 26th, 2010 Dear Colleagues: Barton Community College would like to cordially invite you to the Kansas Individual Events—KASIE—and Parliamentary Debate State Tournaments on February 19th and 20th, 2010. We will be hosting Parliamentary Debate on Friday, February 19th, offering 5 preliminary rounds along with elimination rounds as needed. The individual events tournament will take place Saturday, February 20th with all eleven AFA events in to flight patterns. The final round of Persuasive Speaking will determine the Kansas state representatives at the Interstate Oratorical National Contest at University of Oklahoma April 23rd and 24th. Entries should be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday February 16th. Fees will be assessed as of noon, Wednesday, February 17th after which no refunds will be given. Any entries dropped on or after Thursday February 18th will be assessed a $5 dollar per entry nuisance fee. Please make all entries through joyoftournaments.com. You will receive notification when the tournament is available for registration on the website. We look forward to hosting a weekend of classy and educational weekend of competition.
