You and your students are cordially invited to "THE MADISON INVITATIONAL" speech and debate tournament. It will be held at MADISON HIGH SCHOOL on January 27-28, 2012.

REGISTRATION will be due by Wednesday January 25, 2012 by 3:30 PM. 

Three styles of debate are offered. Public Forum with novice and open divisions. Policy with novice and open divisions. Lincoln/Douglas with novice and open divisions. We will use the January P F topic and January/February L/D topic.

Congress will run as a speech event and will run during debate.

All thirteen state speech events are offered, so please read the information carefully. Students may double enter in speech. Students may enter 1 A pattern and 1 B pattern speech event. All students participating in panel and are double entered should go to their panel round first.

To get to Madison High School take the South Rexburg exit and turn West.  The road ends at Madison High School

There will be a drill team competition at the same time as the debate tournament.  The commons will be shared. Please inform your students that they must not try to enter the gyms to watch the drill competition.

CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

Please have your students leave their boom boxes home.

Drop your students off at the front door.  Have them locate a tabel for their  hang out.  They will then proceed to the auditorium when directed.

All coaches, do not put your name down to judge. Your services are required and needed in the tabulation process. Thank you tons in advance.

Bus Parking:  Buses can park wherever they can find a spot. When school is out they are free to move to a closer location.
