Step #1: Create a page on the website that will "host" the link. This page can be one of the existing pages of your website (e.g. "Invitation", "Information", etc.), or it can be a new page. You may wish to create a new page for Congress Legislation, or to host the results for your tournament. To create a new page, go to the "Administration" link and select "Page Titles". In the "*NEW*" box, type in the title for the new page (e.g. "Results").

Step #2: Upload the document or file that you want linked on the website. The file could be a WORD document, an EXCEL spreadsheet, or a PDF document. Other kinds of files can also be linked on the website, but you'll need to take into consideration whether the document will be readable by the people browsing your website. WORD, EXCEL, and PDF documents are almost universally readable, but other formats may cause issues. In order to "read" the file you post on the website, they'll need access to a program that understands the format of the file you are uploading.

To upload a file, go to the "Administration" page and click on "Upload Files". In the "File #1" box, browse to find the file you want. You may upload multiple files at a time. Press "upload" to send the file to the website.

Click "Browse" and find the document.

Step #3: Use the "Edit Page Content" link on your website page. Type in the text that you want to use as the link on your page (this is called the "anchor text"). Highlight the "anchor text" and press the "Insert/Edit Link" button in the editor toolbar.

On the "Link Info" tab, press the "Browse Server" button.

Find the file you uploaded in Step #2.
